The new Selena Gomez clothing line, Dream Out Loud, has been released today at Kmart. It ranges from tees to shorts to dresses. All of it is very reasonably priced (much cheaper than the Wizards of Waverly Place clothes at Kmart). The shirts start at $8 and some of the dresses are only $16. Shorts and jeans are in the $15-20 range. Most of it would be great for wearing to school. Here are a couple of our favorite pieces.

There are some really cute accessories as well with prices a little bit higher but still not too expensive:

The Dream Out Loud collection is really great for tweens because it is trendy but affordable. The clothes very much look like anything that you would see Selena Gomez wearing herself or Alex Russo wearing on Wizards of Waverly Place. They feature a lot of layering and scarves. Some come with necklaces attached. Many of the shirts are longer tunic length shirts to be worn with skinny jeans or leggings (which are also both part of the collection)

School will be starting before you know it and everyone will be looking for new backpacks. My daughter only wants one kind–a Wizards of Waverly Place backpack. I have not found any locally, but I have found quite a few online. They come in a couple of different sizes, including some with wheels. All of them feature Selena Gomez as Alex Russo.

My daughter is into dressing like Selena Gomez’s character, Alex Russo, on Wizards of Waverly Place. It’s actually been pretty easy to find similar outfits. We’ve been buying a lot of layered clothes with accessories like scarves and peace signs. Items like tunic tops and leggings are also perfect. My daughter has been listening to Selena Gomez constantly! Whether it’s music from Wizards of Waverly Place or Selena’s CD “Kiss  and Tell,” she’s always playing the CD or listening to Selena on her iPod. When she heard that she might be able to get Selena Gomez concert tickets for next summer, she went crazy.

The good news is that Selena is saying that she may be going on tour. The bad news is that there are currently only a couple of dates for which you can get Selena Gomez concert tickets. My daughter has now decided that she wants to decorate her room like Wizards of Waverly Place. The good news is that we didn’t invest very much in decorating her room when we moved into our new house. The bad news is that true WOWP decorations are hard to find.

You can start with the Wizards of Waverly Place bedding collection from Sears. I don’t think that it will last long because it is on sale right now. They have a comforter, valance, pillow shams, and more. Alex Russo is on the majority of it.

Another idea is just to find bedding in the Wizards of Waverly Place color scheme (purple, pink, and turquoise). Then decorate your walls with the lifesize Alex Russo from Fathead:
