It’s almost time for school and everyone is looking for Wizards of Waverly Place school supplies! I have been searching both locally and online and the best that I have found is on Amazon. You can choose from about 50 different Wizards of Waverly Place and Selena Gomez backpacks on Amazon, many with free shipping. Here are a few of our favorites:

So far this year it is looking like it is going to be really hard to find Wizards of Waverly Place Alex Russo costumes. The only place that we are seeing a variety of them for sale is Spirit Halloween. If you end up finding one on Spirit Halloween, you can use code SPAFF20 to take 20% off the highest priced item in your cart. Unless Disney comes out with some new ones for this year, you might have to find the ones from the last two years. While the bad news is that they are hard to find, the good news is that they are not expensive when you find them! Remember that if you do not like these particular costumes, you can always just dress up like Selena Gomez with clothes from her Dream Out Loud collection.

Looking for the Wizards of Waverly Place Build a Bear? It will be available staring January 21. From what we can tell, the bear will be pink and purple with a picture of Selena Gomez as Alex Russo on the front. The shirt is fringed in the typical Wizards of Waverly Place colors of purple and turquoise. In the bear’s hand is a wand of sorts. The bear will sell for $22 and you can get a “wizard teller” with it. It will be available for a limited time only.

A new Wizards of Waverly Place Game called “Spellbound” will soon be available for the Nintendo DS. The game will allow you to use the stylus to cast spells, dress up Alex in costumes, compete in Wizard Challenges, and explore locations from the TV show. Here’s a description from Amazon:

The new Selena Gomez clothing line, Dream Out Loud, has been released today at Kmart. It ranges from tees to shorts to dresses. All of it is very reasonably priced (much cheaper than the Wizards of Waverly Place clothes at Kmart). The shirts start at $8 and some of the dresses are only $16. Shorts and jeans are in the $15-20 range. Most of it would be great for wearing to school. Here are a couple of our favorite pieces.

There are some really cute accessories as well with prices a little bit higher but still not too expensive:

The Dream Out Loud collection is really great for tweens because it is trendy but affordable. The clothes very much look like anything that you would see Selena Gomez wearing herself or Alex Russo wearing on Wizards of Waverly Place. They feature a lot of layering and scarves. Some come with necklaces attached. Many of the shirts are longer tunic length shirts to be worn with skinny jeans or leggings (which are also both part of the collection)

School will be starting before you know it and everyone will be looking for new backpacks. My daughter only wants one kind–a Wizards of Waverly Place backpack. I have not found any locally, but I have found quite a few online. They come in a couple of different sizes, including some with wheels. All of them feature Selena Gomez as Alex Russo.
